What is Covered in the Transition Clinic?

This is a 4th DISCIPLINE CLINIC: NAVIGATING T1 & T2 + Practice Session

Coach Carolina is not only a certified triathlon coach and Lifetime race director - she is an active run pacer for our local Austin Marathon and head coach for Tough Cookies.

This workshop will educate you how to transition through a triathlon as well as give you hands-on experience putting it all together. The first half is dedicated to pre-race and race day advice, as well as the process of setting up a transition area and navigating T1 and T2.

We will provide you the opportunity to put all you've learned into practice. Attendees will be able to learn what may be improved after each go through, and instructors will be available at all times to answer questions! This is excellent training for new triathletes or anyone looking to improve their transitions!

What to bring: Everything you will use in your race: swim cap, goggles, bike shoes, running shoes, hat, socks, race belt and/or hand held or camel bak nutrition. This is your chance to practice anything you plan on using.

Note: You will not be needing your bike.
